Four months down the worst global healthcare crisis, here we are, stronger and more dedicated to the Flexible Workspace industry and Flexible Working evolution than ever before. The world has changed! The way we live and work has changed! The big HQ office in the central business district is dead. Long live the remote, on-demand, distributed, agile, dynamic, fluid, flexible office. The new environment gave us a unique opportunity to ‘make flexible working the way of working‘ much faster than we thought.
The last four months felt more like a year! We faced the worst and scariest crisis our industry could’ve possibly face – complete lockdown with no end date. Most coworking and flexible workspaces had to close their doors. As a result, many lost a lot of their members, a big percentage of their revenues, furlough and reduce their staff and took other extreme measures to survive the pandemic.
As a responsible company, we also had to quickly take a lot of measures to ensure that our team is safe – physically, mentally, and financially. We took the decision to not let go of anyone, of course. Instead, we found other ways to preserve cash and reduce our expenses.
Our team has been working around the clock on so many fronts to ensure that we can serve you, our customers, in the best possible way. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve done so far:
Today, although we have a little bit more clarity about the future than 4 months ago, we still live in highly uncertain times. We live in the new reality that although we’re returning to some ‘normals’, the pandemic is far from resolved. The big question we’re all asking ourselves is What’s the future of work? How are we going to work tomorrow? How is the flexible workspace industry going to change?
