A coworking software during COVID-19 might be a powerful tool to help you manage and keep your business strong. The coronavirus crisis is developing faster than anyone anticipated. We at OfficeRnD are actively thinking about how we can assist you, our customers, in these challenging times.

The following post outlines our assumptions about the type of challenges you’ll face in the upcoming months and how our product can help you deal with them.

1. Digital Community – keeping an open communication channel with your members

Proactive and timely communication with your members might be even more critical in the upcoming months. So you can make sure that your members are safe and aware of the most up-to-date instructions.

Our revamped Member Tools will help you keep your community close and can serve as a single contact point for all crisis-related communication.

Guides to help you get started:

We also released 2 major components that will help you with serving your community online and keeping your members engaged:

  • Our brand new Mobile App and Member Portal – we hope the new apps will help you meet the need for greater operational efficiency and digital communication with members.
  • The OfficeRnD Video Rooms now allow your members to start a video call with other coworkers directly from the Members Portal.

2. Operations – Discounting or pausing memberships for a limited time

Sticking with your clients in a time of crisis is the number one strategy you can employ.

This means that you’ll probably have to offer discounts or pause memberships for a period of time to help your customers get through the challenging times.

Guides to help you get started:

We’re already working on a number of improvements that will help you manage discounts much easier.

3. Safety – Limiting social interactions and reducing the flow of new people in the space

It may sound counter-intuitive for most flexible workspaces. But you might have to find ways to limit social interactions in the upcoming weeks to preserve the well being of your employees and members.

Guides to help you get started:

  • Removing drop-in plans from the sign-up page temporarily (or temporarily removing the whole sign-up page)
  • Changing the privacy of meeting rooms and removing the public calendar
  • Block your meeting rooms in specific time slots – create ghost bookings

4. Reporting – Know your numbers

Now is more important than ever to fully understand your business, your projected revenue, and all your numbers.

Get tight on your numbers and make sure your books are squeaky clean and up to date in case you have to have some tough conversations with landlords/banks/investors.” – Jamie Russo, CEO at Everything Coworking

Guides to help you get started with OfficeRnD Reporting:

We’re already working on a number of improvements related to our Reporting engine to better suit your current needs.

The next weeks or months won’t be easy and we will do everything to help you push through these challenging times.

We’re working as hard as we can to make our products better support you and your members in good times and hard times.

Be safe, be patient and be strong!
