About the role

As a Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the development of compelling, relevant content that will educate and attract new prospects, drive new business opportunities and help the adoption and cross/up-sell of our customers. You would focus on ensuring that all content and pages are SEO optimized and drive organic traffic to the website, while having a consistent tone of voice in all content across all channels – they are the keeper of the editorial guidelines.

In this role you would be the main point of contact for all industry influencers and brand supporters, including customers. You would collaborate with our Product Marketing Managers on key content related projects.

What you’ll do

Top of the funnel and middle of the funnel content:

  • Own the content calendar and plan.
  • Align to goals and clearly defined metrics of success to measure the quality of content, audience growth, engagement, and content reach.
  • Own, maintain, and enforce editorial guidelines.
  • Create/collaborate on top and middle of funnel content including blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, webinars, case studies, etc.
  • Create/collaborate on campaign content – LP copy, email copy, etc.
  • Manage relationship with industry experts or external content creators.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of content is optimal and meets the lead gen needs.
  • Publish blog posts on the website.

SEO and organic traffic:

  • Planning, execution, reporting and optimization on SEO projects.
  • Own content and SEO budget: making sure budget is spent in an optimal way and reporting on ROI and results.
  • Manage the relationship with our SEO partnering agency.

Close collaboration with the Product Marketing and Customer Success teams.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of proven content marketing experience and results in the B2B technology industry.
  • Experience in writing and editing customer-facing content for the digital space with from the top of the funnel through to sales enablement, including some level of product content.
  • Excellent editorial, communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of team members across different functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a thorough knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current marketing efforts.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A creative spirit and a passion for storytelling.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress CMS.
