Configure Single Sign-On with OfficeRnD and Azure AD B2C

  • Identity Management Built for Customers

Azure AD B2C is designed for customer-facing sign-in rather than employee directories, which is exactly the shape of the problem when your users are members rather than staff.

  • A Login Screen That Looks Like Yours

Customise the sign-up and sign-in experience so members go from your portal to a branded login and back, without an obvious handoff to a third party.

  • Let Members Bring Their Own Identity

Azure AD B2C supports social and enterprise identity providers, so members can sign in with an account they already have instead of creating another one.

  • Stronger Authentication Where You Need It

Add multi-factor authentication and conditional policies at the identity layer, without changing anything in OfficeRnD.

Integration overview

OfficeRnD supports SSO with any OIDC-compatible provider, and Azure AD B2C is one of them. Once connected, your members, your admin team, or both, sign in to OfficeRnD through Azure AD B2C rather than with an OfficeRnD password.

OfficeRnD + Azure AD B2C

  • In the Azure portal, register a web application in your Azure AD B2C tenant and create the user flows you want members to see.
  • In OfficeRnD, go to Settings › Authentication & SSO and activate Members SSO or Admins SSO.
  • Copy the Base URL and Return URL from OfficeRnD into your Azure AD B2C application.
  • Paste the Client ID, Client Secret and Discovery URL from Azure back into OfficeRnD.
  • Name the SSO login button, then test the login before enforcing it across your organization.
