For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“Act”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the data processor is OFFICERND LTD, 4 Crown Pl, London EC2A 4BT, UK.
Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you:
Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our Sites or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register to use our Sites, apps, subscribe to our service, search for a product, company, location or user, place an order on our Sites, enter a competition, promotion or survey, enter profile information on our Sites, register with or link to a third party account such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Google and when you report a problem with our Sites. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description and photograph, company name, skills, interests, occupation, job title, links to your accounts with third party applications such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Google.
Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our Sites we may automatically collect the following information:
- technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, platform and device type;
- information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our Sites (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number. We also use applications which take anonymised recordings of user sessions.
Information we receive from other sources. We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. In this case we will have informed you when we collected that data that it may be shared internally and combined with data collected on our Sites. We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers) and may receive information about you from them.
We use persistent cookies and session cookies on our Sites. We use persistent cookies to save your login information for future logins to the Sites. We use session cookies to enable certain features of the Sites, to better understand how you interact with the Sites and to monitor aggregate usage by users and web traffic routing on the Sites. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Where we store your personal data
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL/TLS technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share any password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Sites; any transmission is at your own risk. Access to information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. We’ll usually share this with you within 30 days of you asking us for it.
