OfficeRnD supports SSO with any OIDC-compatible provider, so you’re not limited to a fixed list. If your organization already runs an identity platform, you can connect it.
Set up SSO separately for member tools — the Member Portal and member apps — and for the Admin Portal, each with its own settings.
Cutting down the number of credentials people maintain reduces password reuse, speeds up login and lowers the security exposure of your organization, members, partners and vendors.
Turn on account activation and existing members can sign in to the Member Portal straight away, without waiting for an invitation.
Single Sign-On lets users securely log in to multiple applications with one set of credentials. In OfficeRnD, you can configure SSO for both members and admin teammates using any provider that supports OpenID Connect.
For admins, you can enforce SSO so that the standard OfficeRnD login is disabled entirely. For members, you can additionally turn off password login, which removes email and password sign-in along with the public calendar page, sign-up page and password resets — so check that’s what you want before enabling it.
OpenID Connect is an open authentication standard built on top of OAuth 2.0. It lets an application verify a user’s identity against a trusted identity provider without ever handling that user’s password.
Because it’s a standard rather than a product, OIDC is supported by effectively every modern identity platform, including Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD B2C, Salesforce and AD FS. You can learn more here.
No worries, we have an open API you can use to develop one yourself. You can check it out here.
If you have any questions regarding the integration between OfficeRnD and OpenID Connect, please check the setup guide or contact Support with any questions you have.
We’d love to show you how OfficeRnD can help you automate the day-to-day and give your members a better experience.
