The OfficeRnD Workplace integration with Microsoft Teams lets employees book desks and meeting rooms without leaving Teams or logging into another program. Employees can reserve a space, check in for it, and see who else is in the office, all from a tab they already use every day.
We built this integration to cut down on setup work and to remove one of the biggest barriers to workplace software: adoption. Connecting Workplace with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Active Directory keeps onboarding simple for employees and administrators alike.
Getting people to use another system to interact with the office is hard. Knowledge workers already juggle a stack of tools to get through the day, so new software can get lost in the shuffle and adoption stalls. Meeting employees where they already work solves most of that problem.
Employees use the Microsoft Teams integration to book rooms and desks from inside Teams. Booking happens on an interactive office map, so there’s no separate app to install.
Inside OfficeRnD Workplace, employees see a visual floor plan they can pan and zoom to find the exact spot they want. They can also see past and upcoming bookings in one place to plan their week. Managers and team leaders can book on behalf of colleagues, and even reserve in bulk for a whole team at once, which helps office managers and executive assistants coordinate seating.
The Teams integration shows who has booked space in the office on a given day. Employees can search by name to find where a colleague is sitting and book a desk nearby, which makes coordinating in-office days a lot easier.
Employees can manage their own schedule or a team’s, place a delegated booking for someone else, and set a recurring reservation, for example every Wednesday. Changing or cancelling a booking works the same way, directly in Teams, without switching apps.
See an extended list of tools that integrate with Microsoft Teams.
The integration connects with Active Directory to make login quick. Once it’s enabled, employees authenticate through SSO and start booking desks right away. They can reach OfficeRnD Workplace from the Teams desktop, web, or mobile app.
You can also sync employee profile pictures from your directory, so colleagues are easy to recognize on the office map. That setup runs once a day and removes the need to re-enter user details by hand.
With OfficeRnD Workplace connected to Microsoft Teams, employees get their workplace notifications directly in Teams and can act on them there.
We keep adding features and notifications to the Microsoft Teams integration so more of the workplace runs inside Teams.

Yes. OfficeRnD Workplace syncs meeting room bookings between Outlook and Workplace both ways, so a room booked in Outlook shows up in Teams and the other way around. You can also add a Microsoft Teams meeting link to a room booking.
Yes. Administrators and team leaders can book desks and other resources on behalf of colleagues, including bulk bookings for a whole team. That’s useful for office managers and executive assistants coordinating seating for a group.
The integration uses SSO and Active Directory (Entra ID) for authentication and user provisioning, so employees sign in with their existing Microsoft 365 credentials. Setup requires an administrator Microsoft 365 account to grant the needed permissions.
The Microsoft Teams integration is built for companies that want employees to adopt workplace software without learning yet another tool. It helps larger organizations roll out hybrid work across the whole workforce.
